Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to help you feel confident about your next step
Many people have questions before booking a Clinical Nutrition consultation. It is completely normal to want to understand what to expect, how the process works, and whether this type of support is right for you.
The information below answers some of the most common questions patients ask about Wren Nutrition consultations, services, and the care process. If your question is not answered here, you are always welcome to get in touch.
Appointments and Consultations
-
Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive health intake form and a 3-day diet diary. This provides helpful baseline information and allows us to begin identifying patterns before we meet. This process is entirely non-judgemental and is designed to support a clearer understanding of your current habits and health.
Your Initial Consultation is a comprehensive 60-minute session focused on understanding the full picture of your health. During this time, we explore your health history, current concerns, symptoms, lifestyle patterns, dietary habits, medications, and relevant health markers.
Following the consultation, a personalised treatment plan is developed within one to three days. This includes practical, evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle strategies tailored to your needs.
A complimentary treatment plan review call is also included, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and feel confident implementing your plan.
-
Health concerns are rarely caused by a single factor. Energy levels, digestion, metabolism, hormones, lifestyle, and stress can all influence how the body functions.
Taking the time to understand these areas helps ensure recommendations are appropriate and personalised rather than generic.
A thorough consultation allows us to look beyond surface symptoms and consider the broader picture of your health.
-
Follow-up consultations are recommended for most patients because they provide continuity of care. These appointments allow us to review your progress, adjust strategies if needed, and address any questions that arise as you implement changes.
Health improvements often happen gradually, and ongoing support helps ensure your plan continues to work effectively for you.
-
A standard follow-up consultation is typically 45 minutes and focuses on reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and refining your plan.
An extended follow-up allows additional time for more complex cases. This may include deeper discussion of symptoms, review of pathology results, or further education around specific health concerns.
