Meet Renae

Learn about her approach to helping you improve your health through nutrition

I’m Renae Arnold, founder of Wren Nutrition, and I work with many people who feel exactly where you might be right now.

  • You may be eating reasonably well yet still dealing with fatigue, midlife weight changes, digestive discomfort, rising cholesterol, or shifting hormones.

  • You may feel confused by conflicting advice or frustrated after appointments that left you with more questions than answers.

  • You want to feel better, but you’re not sure what actually works

  • Most of all, you may simply want clear, steady guidance that makes sense for your body and your stage of life.

These experiences are often what bring people to seek support in the first place, and they are also part of what inspired me to pursue Clinical Nutrition.

Nourish Well. Age Strong. Live Fully.

Why I Do This Work

Wren Nutrition was not created from theory alone. It was shaped by lived experience.

For many years, I was the person family members came to when they had questions about their health. I have supported parents, children, and loved ones through changing life stages, medical concerns, and the emotional weight that often accompanies health uncertainty.

After having my third child at almost 44, I made a decision to finally pursue what I had long felt called to do. I returned to study as a mature-aged student and completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition, graduating with High Distinction.

Throughout my training and previous roles as a medical receptionist and manager of an Independent Living Retirement Village, I noticed something consistent. Health is rarely simple. It is layered. It is influenced by stress, environment, history, life stage, and emotion. Yet many people feel rushed or dismissed when seeking help.

I realised that what was often missing was not more information. It was space. Listening. Explanation. Collaboration.

This is why I am passionate about helping people like you. Because nutrition advice only works when it meets you where you are, and when it feels realistic within your actual life.

What Makes This Approach Different

Nutrition and lifestyle advice is only truly effective when it meets people where they are, emotionally, physically, & practically.

Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition, completed with High Distinction, and am a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association. Association membership enables eligible patients to access private health rebates.

My background includes supervised clinical training, community education workshops, experience working as a medical receptionist, and management of an Independent Living Retirement Village within the local area. I also maintain current First Aid and CPR certification and relevant clearances for professional practice.

I have a strong interest in healthy ageing, metabolic health, cardiovascular wellbeing, and supporting patients over 50 to maintain vitality and independence.

At this stage of my life, I bring both formal education and lived experience. I understand the realities of juggling responsibilities, managing stress, and navigating physical changes across midlife and beyond. This allows me to offer guidance that feels grounded, practical, and achievable.

If you would like to explore whether this approach feels right for you, I would be pleased to connect.

What You Can Expect

Working with Renae feels calm, structured, and supportive.

You can expect to be in a space where you are listened to without judgement. You can expect clear explanations about what may be contributing to your symptoms. You can expect a practical plan that fits within your family, work, and community commitments.

Over time, many patients describe feeling less confused about food choices. They report improved confidence in managing their health markers. They begin to understand their bodies more clearly.

Instead of reacting to symptoms, they feel proactive. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, they feel steady.

The goal is not perfection. The goal is sustainable, long-term health supported by realistic strategies and ongoing guidance.
